Sara Kammler (1979) heads the Support of Bodies and Public Relations staff unit and is a consultant in the System Accreditation department at the Head Office of the German Accreditation Council.
After studying Classical Archaeology, Art History and Ancient History in Bonn and Munich, she completed a traineeship at the Georg von Holtzbrinck School for Business Journalists and subsequently worked as an editor and freelance journalist for national media and other publications.
She gained experience in university management and knowledge of the German science system during her work at the University of Cologne and the Martin Luther University Halle-Wittenberg as well as in the office of the Joint Science Conference, where she was responsible for the Excellence Initiative and Excellence Strategy, the Pact for Research and Innovation and the Quality Pact for Teaching.
